    plastic cover under engine bay

i just noticed it isn't connected properly and is hanging down. i saw a small piece broke off near the driver side headlight. i'm guessing this happened by driving in some rain. i certainly didn't run over something to cause it.

any tips on fixing or schematics for this?

Driving in rain certainly won't damage your underbody cover. You most certainly hit something or another driver of your car did.

Driving through very large puddles at high speed will :-)
I ripped off one of the underbody plastics this way during monsoons.

If it's the front belly pan you can buy a replacement on ECStuning.com

Both my under engine plastic came off and my passanger side underbody one did too. I haven't got into putting them back on yet though. Summer came so I didn't think it was much of an issue.

From what I can tell, there's a bunch of odd looking screws at the front and two near the back. Those screws are like 5 bucks each.

Well, I got mine from a forum member in a battered state. But fixed it with rivets and aluminum plates at the cracked places. I don't see a reason to get a aluminum ones unless you are lowered considerably and drive over ice chunks or rocks all the time. That being said, I was driving without the belly pan(thats what its called I guess) for almost two years. Nothing happened. I am not lowered though. :)
Fix it with aluminum plate and rivets. You can get the aluminum plates with predrilled holes in home depot. Cut to length for the hole to match the original spot and rivet it. I think I bought a 1" wide aluminum plate and I cut it to mimic the original spots.

Even big puddles won't do it damage unless it is missing screws. If you are I can see a monsoon ripping it off

All the screws on mine just managed to fall out somehow. The plastic isn't broken or anything just screws fell out. Which I find a bit odd.

i got a new OEM one for a great deal that had tears in it-apparently through poor handling during shipping. it's very thin and cheap plastic. it's no wonder the one on my car didn't crap out sooner. may as well get the more durable panzer plate. no way am i talented enough to make my own.

    another aluminum version:
