    :: ECS Tuning :: NEW!! Stahlbus Oil Drain Valve Set | B6 A4 1.8T

    A conventional oil change is always associated with spills and dirty hands. Therefore, this system has been developed with which you can perform an oil change completely safe and clean.

    The stahlbus oil drain valve will easily replace the existing drain screw. When changing the oil, you unscrew the cap and put on the hose connector via quick release. Only when this is locked, the valve opens and the oil can be drained into the provided container.

    When disconnecting the hose connector, the valve closes automatically and you only have to turn on the cap.

    Normally I don't find things like this particularly interesting, but this is actually a pretty ingenius idea. Might have to think about ordering up one of these for my next oil change! You could almost make an oil change completely tool-less!

    Yeah I've thought about using those other oil change valves, but never felt safe with the levers on them. This seems fool proof to me.

    I used one of the Fumoto Valves on my 1990 20V for 10 years. Only issue I ever had was that I made the mistake of going through a Mr Lube for an oil change one time, and the attendant couldn't figure out the Valve so he proceeded try and change the transmission fluid. When I noticed the car rocking back and forth (him trying to remove the transmission drain plug) I poked my head under and realized what was going on.
    The Fumoto Valve lever needs to be pushed up against a spring and then rotated to open, it really isn't an issue. This Stahlbus Valve looks pretty slick too.
