    So besides P3,
what options do we have for a vent mounted boost gauge?
not sure I want to drop the $400 on the P3 digital when an analog is perfectly fine with me...

If you want to analog, you would have to get a boost tap and you would need to punch a hole in the intake for the tap. There aren't any vacuum lines to tie in for an analog gauge.

I'll lend my experience. I picked up a Osir vent mount for the 8V and a Stack boost gauge. Pulled the vent and looked at all the parts, the mount was way too shallow for the gauge. I didn't want to use a cheap Chinese gauge so I gave up on that plan. Not really wanting to spend $400 for a OBD based gauge I went another route. I picked up a inexpensive Bluetooth OBD adapter and the Torque app. Using a retired android phone I have what ever gauge I want for less than $50.

That's not a big issue, as some P3 users are adding a boost tap for analog readings. P3 is cool, but so damn expensive.

I think ppl want a numerical value they can measure especially if they are tuned.

For some it may be an issue. The P3 is cool and expensive as you mentioned.

So it appears the P3 is really the only route unless installing a custom tap into the intake for an analog... looks like ill be biting the bullet on a P3 soon as I get tuned

I thought the p3 was way to expensive for what it is... then found one preinstalled in a vent for 250 shipped

It's not custom. APR has a kit for it.

I too tried this method although I've never been successful in getting any response from the Digital Torque Apk. All other Gauges seem to work fine but setting up the Boost to Work seems to be complicated. Care to Share the proper setup with Torque ?

I have a p3 analog boost sensor and apr boost tap that I ended up not using. I'll sell it cheap. I thought I was going stage 2, but decided against it.

Let me know if you're interested once you get the actual p3 gauge.

    Boost Gauge options

I went P3 w/ analog, but there are some steering wheel shroud mounts if you don't mind slightly covering your instrument cluster.

I really dislike the a-pillar cups.

to get the Analog to function, what did you need to purchase along with the gauge... I'm looking at the Defi boost gauges as an option instead of going P3 still..
