Hello all! I'm excited to be a member of this community!
Two weeks ago I purchased a 2008 2.0T with the S-line package from a local dealer. It had over 100K miles, but was overall in great shape. I've never owned a car with that many miles, so I was a bit nervous but thought what the heck, I'm sure it won't be an issue. Well, two hours after leaving the dealer the CEL came on. Got the code read (vacuum leak) and took it back to the dealer who agreed to fix it for me. They ended up having to send it to the Audi dealer for "programming" because the light kept coming on even after they "fixed" it, but they assured me they would get it fixed. Fast forward two weeks, I pick the car up and on the way home the light comes on again. I immediately turn around and head back to the dealer. I had already expressed to him that I was starting to worry I had bought a car that was going to be nothing but problems, and I think he was beginning to think that as well, so he offered me my money back and I took it. I have to say, they really did go out of their way to help me, so they get 5 stars in my book regardless of the issues with the car.
Now enters the '07 3.2 :) Since I was down to one car for my family, I needed to find something quickly. I had been watching this one online for a couple of weeks and happened to see on Saturday that they dropped the price by a grand. I have always said if I ever bought an A4, I would want the 3.2, and I can now say I'm actually happy with the way things happened. The more I drive it, the more I fall in love with the power and the sound of the engine. I'm a 6 cylinder kinda guy, so I was a little disappointed with the 2.0 to begin with. The 6 just feels right to me, and I didn't plan on doing any performance mods anyway. And with only 78K miles, it will take me about 5 years to reach the mileage of the '08 with the way I drive!
Anyway, if you're still reading, thanks for hanging in there and reading this novel.
Hopefully in the not too distant future I will be posting pictures of it lowered and riding on 19" peelers! Gotta get rid of that 4X4 look ;)
