Yay, its been a while coming but I was having way too much fun...I feel like I just needed to get used to life with the beast before moving up a few notches.

To be frank I deliberated so darn long on the wheels- apologies to those who I bugged sending PM's about their wheels but I am pumped at the saucy set I picked up from fellow AZ Yas- thanks Dude-

So my starting point is here (this is what I inherited/purchased)

• --2013, Silver with full Black 3M Matte Wrap
• --Miltek Exhaust
• --CCB
• --Black Optics, B&O etc etc including installed Radar Detector Passport 9500ci
• --20" OEM Titanium Rotors

So the plan is as follows:
New rims going on this week- Avant Guard F331 forged monoblock, finished in dolphin grey with brushed faces.- thanks to Yas in CO.
Ecodes ordered...yay, about time I think. Thanks to AgAutoHaus for the group buy! Can't wait for these babies.
A set of Pilot SS 275 30 20 on the way. thanks Eric, for now the DWS will swop out as lots of thread on those ones
Wrap is coming off at the start of August and my friend over at Elite Auto Coatings is putting up with my changing mind, but looks like a Nardo Grey a tad darker and respray the calipers yellow.
Applying tint to side windows and possibly tinting the rear lights also.

Pics to follow this week with new rims and early August with the new paint job and hopefully the ecodes.

Then plans in the pipe to look at suspension and research goes on whether to get c/o or hhs springs.

Open to recommendations and advice as I go on.

Thanks man, pumped to get them on as my rotors were full of rash (bought them and the guy had dipped to mask the scuffing)- might get them reconditioned at some stage. Yes I want to but I want to go yellow but I'm not sure how the white will look? Need to find black decals I think!

Just ordered another set- Black lettering with Red. Thanks for straightening me on that one- the white would have been too light

What do you think for body color- I am thinking color matching the grey from the wheels?? It keeping me awake at night!!
I love this on the TAG RS which I believe is Nardo, but I saw a Nardo before and it was way lighter...

The TAG RS is Nardo -- its a tricky color to photograph, depending on the light and camera settings, much like Suzuka.

I guessed as much Yas...my guy is great at mixing the colors, so he will get it right. I do want it 'darker'.

I'm curious about the bike rack you are using. I've been looking for something to fit my S5 but am not finding anything that fits the glass top. What are you using?

It's a suction cup system by a company called seasucker. I purchased mine at REI but they also skip direct from their website. It's working out to be pretty awesome and takes less than 5 minutes to install and less to remove so you only have to put it on the car when u need. They do ski, canoe and surfboards. I passed a guy last week with a two bikes on his Delorian.

So the wrap is almost off and the OEM silver exposed. Never seen her with her silver dress as I purchased with the wrap on



Base coats laid down and ready for top coats tomorrow. Pumped AMD nervous.

Wow looks like it will turn out great. I'm NOT a fan of how plasti dip looks for whole cars but Autoflex definitely has my interest piqued.

I am with you on plastidip as I had to remove from my wheels as the previous owner had applied a black plastidip to them...watch this space and updates

iv seen autoflex in person. its not 100% perfect but looks good. as always, it really depends on the installer/shop that does the work. if you got a good guy, results will be amazing.

Oh I'm sure, same goes for paint or vinyl though. Got a couple chips in the hood and front bumper so now I'm mulling over a wrap or a respray+Xpel. Now I guess autoflex is in the mix but definitely need to see shops work in person.

id do vinyl wrap or autoflex. after my ordeal with car repaint and resale value hitting, not worth it. at least not to dealers. they rather take a car with a few chips vs repainted fresh from what I been encountering

my chips show through the vinyl but def not bad. u have to feel them out

Yeah that's definitely something worth noting. Only reason I'd consider paint is if I was getting s-line bumper and needed to paint anyways. What's the going rate for full vinyl? I assume it's cheaper in ny than ct.

Wow awesome, best part is you can buff it, wax etc just like regular paint and it peels right off when you get bored of it!

agreed, my guy is awesome. His work is exceptional. Also helps that he is an Audi guy

After living with vinyl for a year (and inherited it with 15 months on the clock) it started showing signs of age- I actually tracked down the installers and they had done a nice initial job with 3M product- apparently whilst the application is the major part of vinyl its the product that fails over time rather than the application. Its tends to shrink around areas like seams and edges due to weather and other elements. I totally agree tho that installer is key...p.s. i was so close to following you with the Nero!

Calipers and some minor adjustments I think, but cannot decide on that until I get back to the US and see her in person
