Today I installed my dash camera. I removed the positive terminal on the battery. I ran the wire from the cigarette lighter behind the nav, then behind the instrument cluster, up the A pillar to the middle of the windscreen under the rear view mirror. Connected back everything. Now I tried to start the car, it tubles to over and start for 2 second then shut off and the battery lights stays on. Just tried to lock the doors and my remote does not work. Help please. 🙏 Thanks

At the bottom of the speedometer it also says 301.0 km where I had 256000 and under that it says SAFE.

I did multiple searches and nothing was working. Someone said to check the cluster. I removed the connectors and connected them back and it works now.

you may be able to get away with just changing the brushes in the alternator, i did that and got by for close to two years before i replaced it with a re-manufactured one...

Your cluster is in SAFE mode, which means you tripped up the Immobilizer somehow. Not sure how to fix that...

Could have pulled a wire when running the power cable, causing it to be loose.
