S5 and Warbird Photo Thread

Thought I would start a thread to share my photos. These are all airplanes we build and maintain at our facility. When able, I like to take the S5 out and get a few shots next to the projects. There seems to be some interest in airports, airplanes, and even some other pilots on here, so hoping everybody enjoys the images. I'd like to keep posting new photos from time to time as I get the opportunity with new projects.

As for my ride, it's a 2009 Phantom Black, Magma red interior, full deAutoLED interior kit. It has an AWE track exhaust and I just installed Eurocode trans and diff mounts last week. Since these photos were taken I painted the platinum grille to black optic, and have also done vinyl on the window trim. Lots of other mods on the 'want' list.

I thought those birds looked familiar. I flew on that B17 with my dad last year when they passed thru Houston, awesome experience.

Our facility has an open door to visitors and one of the best parts of the job is when the vets come through, and to hear their stories. Many haven't been up close to these planes in 70 years. Sometimes it's very emotional for them and their families.

I was hoping to get some photos of the car with the new project we just rolled out, but unfortunately ran out of time as we were detailing it right up until it took off for Oshkosh Airventure. It's a new TF-51D Mustang and will be taking the place of our other Mustang on tour currently. I'm going to have to wait until November to shoot it with the S5, but here are a few from the air to air I did with it last week.
