    Anyone running the Unitronic Intake?

Hey everyone, I have a 2016 S3 and I'm looking at getting either the Carbonio or Uni intake. I've ran the Carbonio on my past three cars, but I read that people with S3s are having issues with a tab breaking off due to the S3 being a bit different from the R. It looks like the Uni would be the next best option, but it hasn't been out very long. Thoughts?

Any reason why you chose these over the 034, apr and cts intakes?

Carbonio is the APR and I'm not very familiar with the 034 or CTS. I like discrete performance and given the similar designs between the APR/Carbonio and the Uni I assume they should perform similarly.

I have the apr one, my tab is still intact after 6k miles. You just need to take your time during the install and not force it.

lucky for us, there are lots of quality choices to choose from. can't really go wrong.

Thanks for the reply! The APR is my top choice but the tab breaking worries me. Did you notice any changes in throttle response? The only mods I'm doing until warranty is up is AWE catback and intake. I figured an intake would be the best mod to start with since it may make my stock exhaust a bit louder

^ my car was stock when I added it, the only thing I could say for sure was different was louder turbo noises... oh, and it looked prettier.

Okay that's exactly what I'm looking for. Hopefully some people running the Uni comment. Thanks!
