Does gas waste fast on this car? I just filled it up and didn't even last 2 days , haven't drove much ,do I have an issue?

We'll need waay more details than that to give you any kind of legitimate answer.

Well just seems like gas is going by fast, if I pump half a tank it would be gone by end of the day I drive probably 15 minutes to work

Also last time I pumped the gauge said I had no gas left in tank so I pumped some gas and when I turned the car on the gauge didn't read as full

As mentioned above we need more information.

When you say you filled up, does that mean you put in 20 bucks worth of fuel or filled up the tank and from what level, 1/4 or half tank? "Filling up or filled up" is a relative term.

$20 for 3/4 tank seems really cheap wherever you're filling up. Or your fuel gauge is reading wrong. Might need recalibration or worst case you have a fuel leak ( you should be able to smell gas if it is leaking)

Don't have the exact number but I think our tanks hold about 16 gallons total

$20 / ~$3per gallon = ~6-7 gallons. At 20MPG, that would get you about 130 miles of travel, but if you just got the car and romp on it everywhere like I did, you could be getting 15-17MPG which would cut your $20 down to about 100 miles. 15 min drive to and from work could be 15-20 miles freeway, meaning you did almost 80 miles in two days. The math checks out, for the most part.

FYI your engine type, trans type, driving habits, and car's mileage will all affect MPG. Also $20 might get you more or less fuel depending on how much it costs in your area.

I always find that gallons per fortnight is the most accurate measure. Actually miles per gallon (miles divided by gallons used) would be more useful. I think they taught division in elementary school.
