    B8/8.5 S4 Milltek Non-Resonated (Race) Exhaust System w/ X-pipe [CO]

It's time for me to move on from my Milltek setup. As the title states, this is the Non-Resonated version, and I have the optional X-pipe to make it LOUD. The exhaust system, as you can tell, is pretty used...it needs a really good cleaning. Both center resonators have battle scars from my car being lowered on H&R OE springs. All in all, I'd say there's about 10k miles on this system. Some of the clamps toward the rear are replacement, non-Milltek clamps. I have most of the original clamps, but they're pretty rusted out and I could not fix them, but I have them for you if you want to try to repair them. The gaskets on the downpipes look pretty beat, so I'd recommend getting new gaskets or re-using the ones that came with your car if your ride is relatively new. I have included new nuts and bolts for the downpipes. I think that's about it. I'll edit this post if I think of anything else. Thanks for looking!

I'm not entirely sure what your end game is here. Are you trying to police the forums to judge what behooves the Rocky Mountain Classifieds the best? Clearly, this exhaust is not for your car (B6 A4, MK4 Jetta), or that you're looking to upgrade to a B8/B8.5 S4 so you've been researching the market extensively? I believe the market for mods for a 16 year-old car versus and 5 year-old car is vastly different, is it not? I guess somehow my post has distraught you in some shape or form so much so that you had to comment not just once, but come back and comment again ~12 hours later. I don't think I'm misleading people with my ad, and I am being transparent as possible. These are still selling brand new for well over $2,000, so are you saying 50% off is not good enough for a used system? Are you trying to offer a helpful hand, and would like to show me how to best polish an exhaust system? Can I see your handiwork on your exhausts? Sorry, I've never worked with metal before so I'm really naive on how to do this. Anyway, if this is what an exhaust looks like on a car for about 10k miles, an exhaust system on a 16 year-old car must look like a disaster. Do you take apart your exhaust system and clean it once year or so? I don't know...I feel like that my expectations on a used exhaust it that they're supposed to look used. With metal tubes going through heat cycle after heat cycle, I expect them to physically change, but to each their own?

Honestly, not really. I was trying to get a sense of where you're coming from, and give you the benefit of the doubt that you weren't just purely trying to troll. However, if you want to believe that you struck my nerve, and that makes you happy, then I'm happy.

Surprisingly, this wasn't my lowest OBO. Anyway, I think your best bet is buying brand new. Thanks for looking!
