Heading to the dealer for TSB and OCD fix ;what else to look for ?

Since I don't feel like going to the dealer every month and be a regular customer lol.. I bought my car CPO ( already 105 000 km on it), 8 months ago, but the inspection was BS ( 1000 km later I had t fill up 1 liter of oil, 2 nail was found on my tire after 2 weeks of driving.. etc etc.)

So I spoke with my advisor and told him I had a few OCD things I would like fixed :) I'm pretty confident most things will be taken care

Here's the thing that I noticed so far.. but I'm wondering if other have experienced other common things like ( heat shield rattle passenger side, although there's no TSB for that..)

1. Funky smell when starting the A/C ( yes i did change the cabin filter, still smell !) there's a TSB for that.
2. Condensation in headlight, these a TSB for that, but on summer time- it doesn't show. so I guess i wont be able to replicate the issues.
3. Rattle passenger side ( on idle, the passenger seat seems to shake, but when you sit in, you don't really feel it, but when I'M alone, I hear it and feel the shaking.) I believe it's the heat shield right ?
4. Stripped nut on the license plate holder.
5. PCV Valve leaking ( notice it when we did the walnut carbon cleaning)
6. Rattle on cold-startup, tsb for that too..
7. I also wanted them to take a look at the condition of my crank pulley.

I had 6 done. Was out of a car for about a week, but no more rattle

What's the tsb for #1? I have the same issue.

If you get #2 done, could you tell me the TSB number. Dealer wouldn't cover it out here, they say it's a normal wear and tear thing, total BS.

The fact that your technician(s) didn't do the repair properly is not reason for others to skip over it.

It is annoying that you're dealing with that, but I'm sure it will be sorted shortly..

Did they fix the engine rattle? I'm having an issue with my drivers seat. It has a little play in it fore and aft and when I come to a stop and hit the gas it moves back slightly. Drives me nuts.

Did they fix the engine rattle? I'm having an issue with my drivers seat. It has a little play in it fore and aft and when I come to a stop and hit the gas it moves back slightly. Drives me nuts.

2x same issue here and also drives me nuts.

I heard somewhere that someone had the lower seat frame replaced under warranty and that solved the issue. Can anybody shed some light on this?

Audi Silver Spring of MD told me it's a recognized issue that they've encountered with a few S4's but there is "no known remedy at this time".

I got a chuckle out of that.

** Update ** Brought my car at the dealer this morning. Here's their answer ;

2. Condensation in headlight, these a TSB for that, but on summer time- it doesn't show. so I guess i wont be able to replicate the issues. send me a pictures when it happens
3. Rattle passenger side ( on idle, the passenger seat seems to shake, but when you sit in, you don't really feel it, but when I'm alone, I hear it and feel the shaking.) I believe it's the heat shield right ? We couldn't replicate the problem, so we can't fix it. I said the problem is pretty obvious in gear 7 at 80-100 km/h, I guess they just drove down the road where the limit is 50km/h.
4. Stripped nut on the license plate holder. It,s a shame the previous dealer did that when they came you the car, but we can't do nothing beside changing the plate and it's a helfty 324$.............................................. ..................................WOW !!!
5. PCV Valve leaking ( the shop took a picture of the leak and notice it when we did the walnut carbon cleaning) We just removed the blower and it's bone dry. there's nothing that has to be changed.
6. Rattle on cold-startup, tsb for that too..
7. I also wanted them to take a look at the condition of my crank pulley and suspension since I sometimes I feel like I'm fighting the steering and it get shaky, but that could just be the TSC acting up.. Everything look A1 mister. Nothing to report here either.
8. Paint chipping/rust on front fender Only covered by first warranty, not CPO
9. Paint bubbling in my rear fender too soon to do anything..

Not to mention when I got my car CPO, the rules says that a car needs to have at least 50% brake and tires.. well my tires were between 40-50% and had to nail in them + after 500km, I had the MMI low level oil indicator..


So what's the point of paying for CPO if NOTHING out of my 10 problems, not one single have been taken care of ? Should I make a claim at Audi of canada ?

That really sucks. Unfortunately it doesn't surprise me. Dealers are so damn cheap.
