    Coding for 6AT shifter?

So, on every sequential transmission on the planet, to shift up, you pull the shifter towards you. To downshift, you push the shifter towards the dash. The shifter in the Audi is the opposite. Forward is "up", pulling back is "down" shifting.

Does anyone know if it's possible to reverse the coding for the shifter so it works "correctly" when in manual mode, using the the Ross-Tech software? I might be a bit pedantic for requesting this, but it's very upsetting that Audi seems to have gotten it backwards.

Don't believe it is possible without hacking the circuit board appart or intercepting/modifying the CAN messages

Wow, I searched for an hour...and couldn't find a single post. I thought I was the only daft one here!!

Thanks for the reply though. It actually wouldn't be too difficult to switch the wires around. I was just looking for an easier way, using the high dollar cable I bought!

I looked into this also when I had my automatic and couldn't find a way either. Drives me nuts every time I drive an automatic Audi.
