APR stage 3 54k 2 owner no accident Imola Avant

Stumbled across a little gem... 54k Imola avant clean title. Originally a NJ car but brought to Az in 2005 with 28k miles. Once it came to Az it Instantly had a APR Stage 3 with BW K04's, APR bi pipe, RS4 Y pipe, RS4 intercoolers ect ect ect all the 'fixins installed. The gentleman that owns it is a Veteran and probably in his 60's. The car is a 9.8/10 interior and 8.5/10 exterior (two small dents from garage things falling on it), again with only 54k original miles.

Heres the downside... pass side K04 is making noise and the car is smoking.

What would you give other than first born, testicle and kidney for such car ???

He's selling it because it's proberly expensive.. but that yellow color = brilliant.. Put some original RS4 B5 rims on it and it's a beauty. Dents can be fixed. The K04 replacement might hurt in the beginning but soon forgotten for the pleasure you can experience with such a car.

The work isn't a problem. Wheels aren't a problem. Taillights aren't a problem. This is bad I'm getting emotional

6-8k range i would guess seeing the condition and needing the purchase of another k04. its nice just getting over the b5 s4 avant hype . going b6 s4 avant :)

Low mileage S4s are difficult to find, exponentially more-so in this combo obviously. I think the 6-8 number quoted above would be a great deal.

Does he have an asking price for the car or are you going in blind?

I suggest putting the car to a rough and detailled analysis, so you can get a better view of just that what you know now, and take a mechanic with you who see's more then you.

Mileage shoud'nt be a real issue, as long as it's being maintained well.
