Only OBD port flashing is supported on the B8 S4, so AWE would not be able to flash your ECU.

AWE is able to flash mailed in ECUs for bench flashing, but not for OBD port flashing. In this case, dealers would not be able to do anything to your ECU since the B8 S4 software only supports OBD port flashing. Hope this helps and I apologize for any confusion.
