Going to get a DP, but might add full exhaust later. Which DP to get?

I plan on going Stage 2 (going with the Eurodyne tune) shortly after my 5k service. I'd like to start with just the DP, but may add a full exhaust later. Since the OEM exhaust has a resonator, I assume most people get a DP without one. AWE offers both a resonated and non-resonated DP. I like the sound of the AWE exhaust, but don't think I'd want a non-resonated exhaust as it would be too loud.

Should I just get a non-resonated DP? Is anyone running a resonated DP *and* stock exhaust with the resonator?

I'd rather not cut my OEM exhaust up and install the resonator delete, since this is a lease and I want to be able to return to stock fairly easily.

    Any advice/input welcome!

Bull-X has the advantage that it is modular. So the included reducer will adapt to your stock exhaust, but can be removed later if you are upgrading to a full 3" system. Let us know if we can help out!

Thanks, though to answer my question specifically, if I chose to add an aftermarket exhaust with the Bull-X DP, I'll then have an unresonated setup, correct?

I have the resonated AWE downpipe with the stock exhaust including the stock resonator. This setup is a bit louder than stock with a deeper tone but it's still pretty quiet overall. I tried it with the resonator delete and it's too loud and drones at certain engine speeds. I found it annoying after a few days so I put the stock resonator back on.

The resonator is located after the downpipe, so that would not affect it. You would still need to choose either resonated or non resonated when you purchase a catback.

I just added the Neuspeed catted DP and went from APR Stage 1 to 2. I went with the Neuspeed one because it guarantees no check engine light, and I don't have to add a test pipe file to my stage 2 flash to turn off the rear O2 sensor. I will eventually have to pass emissions here, so I didn't want to deal with swapping out DPs for testing. It also allows me to flash back to stock for warranty work and not have a CEL.
