Symphony II radio problems

Disconected battery,Upon reconnecting noticed radio did not have anything on the screen and all buttons where unresponsive. There was no sound from radio, cd, or tape. Checked fuses in fuse panel,also pulled Head unit from dash. The fuse in the back of the HU was also good. When putting fuses back in is could hear internal HU disc changer cycling but rest of the radio was still unresponsive. I don't believe the radio is in safe mode, otherwise it would display "safe" I've got the pin to unlock it, but can't get the unit itself to respond to any buttons pressed. Disconected all wire harnesses too and when I reconnected the problem persisted. Any thoughts? Haha this audi as a daily driver is killing me!

How do you know the fuse on the radio is actually good, not blown?

Did visual inspection of fuse in fuse panel, and the 10amp in back of radio had guy at sound world test it with Multimeter Also assumed they were both ok after hearing the disc changer cycle when putting the fuses back in.
