    Question AEB Pistons

    Hello,

I am starting the build on my engine with a gt3076r.
I am dropping in new forged rods, coated wrist pins, getting the crank machined new, etc. I am looking to run the stock size bore for the pistons. My question is, they say AEB pistons have seen 700hp. I have 3 pistons and 1 got messed up a little from hitting the valves (building my head too). My question is, can I just get a good condition stock piston and put it in too? I dont think those $120/set pistons are the same quality as OEM Audi pistons. What are thought on those cheap pistons? and what about another good stock one? Also what headgasket should I use? I'm not looking to lower the compression or anything, just wanna know whats the best material to use for high quality?

    Thanks

measure your bore to see if you can even run stock anymore. Sounds like you had some issues with that engine.
