Custom Metal Late Allroad Vband Bipipe with Throttle body

For sale is a custom bipipe that I made using a late allroad metal throttle body boot. It fits in stock location without any fitment issues except that it is a requirement to use an electric fan instead of the normal stock viscous fan. It will fit with the viscous fan but the fan will require trimming. The bipipes connect to the throttle body boot using 2-inch gasket vbands to ensure leak free operation.

I also had methanol bungs welded into the bipipes and after that treatment, it went off to get professionally powder coated semigloss black. The only minor blemish on the powder coat is where the vbands mount and cannot be seen when in the car.
I cannot confirm or deny if it will fit your engine covers however( i am not a engine cover guy)

The throttle body is in perfect working condition and off a b7 a4 (Same part number, different revision) The only reason I am selling the throttle body with the bipipe set is that the late allroad has a different throttle body without a "ridge" on the mating surface and is extremely expensive. So I modified the stock throttle body to ensure a leak free operation.
This throttle body boot can accept a stock MAP sensor with no issues or a TDI MAP with modification to the sensor.
If the throttle body isn't required, I can remove it and adjust the price accordingly but I cannot confirm leak free operation when using it on your setup as the gasket used in the late allroad throttle body boot could not seal correctly. You would have to buy a new one
I can also include a gasketed stock map sensor with bolts for a modest price.

I hated the look and the constant problems i had with the stock throttle body boot, this fixed that problem. I also personally think that compared to the APR big pipe this is a major upgrade, the benefit with this setup being that you can remove your intake manifold without taking off the throttle body or throttle body boot or the whole entire bipipe set off. And who doesn't love the look of vbands?

Updated Price: 320$ without throttle body. 400$ with throttle body.

The only thing you would need to mod to make it fit on your b5 is shaving your viscous fan. if you have efk, everything fits fine. it also fits with oem diverters and lobster claws ect.
I have updated my post for a pic of it in my car
