2016 A5 Change Stock HIDs to 6000k HIDs?

Hi all,

I just recently purchased a 2016 A5 and I'm completely in love with it! I have the stock Xenons, but I was wondering if anyone has swapped out the stock HIDs for another temperature?

I'm assuming the stock HIDs are 4500k, but I was thinking on switching them out to 6000k. Has anyone done this, and if so, how was the install (easy, medium, tedious)? Thanks in advance for any help, and I'm glad to learn more about this car!

Just a couple of weeks ago there's a similar thread here on the s4 forum.

There is a lot of information on bulb swap in terms of installation and temperature choices...
Be sure to use search.

FYI I swapped mine with Philips Xtreme-Vision bulbs that are noticeably brighter and whiter than stock after break-in. They are rated @ 5000k. I've never seen a 6000k bulb brighter than stock though. I even have a thread of my installation and review some months ago but I'm using tapatalk so it's hard to find it for you right now.
