    Wheel order dilemma

I'm in need of some advice. I've been waiting since January for a set of TE37 Ultras (satin black). Yesterday I heard from an upstream vendor that Volk put the order on hold as they wait for more orders to justify production. Not sure why I didn't get the notice sooner, but whatever. Bottom line, the wheels haven't even been made - and I have at least another 3 months to wait before there's even a chance of seeing them stateside.

I was super excited to get these on the S6 (especially after seeing them on the SQ5), but now I'm just frustrated.

So, what would you guys do? Cancel and move on? Wait another 3 months?

Personally after already waiting 6 months I would cancel, find some other wheels and move on. There is no guarantee they will have enough orders in 3 month's to justify a production run of the wheels so you'll be in the same boat as now.

Thanks all. That's the way I'm leaning, though I'd love to see these wheels on a C7.

FWIW, the vendor was going to tag the wheels as necessary for a SEMA project, so the three month window from now is relatively firm.

Guess I'm back to the drawing board on this project!

here's the question - would another wheel take you 3 months to receive anyway? If yes, and the vendor is positive you'll get your ordered set within the same window, stick with your current order if that's the wheel you really want. If you're able to order another wheel you really like and get them within say 1-2 weeks, then cancel the order. Otherwise, you might as well wait the additional 3 months and get the ones you really wanted, however late.
