Question for lowered folks with ACC

I was at the dealership yesterday and talked to the foreman. He is a pretty awesome guy, very mod friendly to the point where he encourages mods. Anyway, I asked him if he could install lowering springs on my A6 at the dealership, he said of course, that can be done but pretty obviously the ride would get a little harsh. He also recommended that I get sway bars and end links to change up the handling. He mentioned another thing- the sensors for ACC and Brake Guard would need to be recalibrated after springs are done. His explanation was that with the height going down by an inch or more, there are thick chances of 'ACC & Brake Guard unavailable' error popping up often and brake guard engaging on roads with dips and uneven rail road crossings without a reason.
What are y'all's thoughts on this?

I was slammed with coilovers on my A7 and never had any issues with warnings. I wouldn't waste your money on it

Yeah the whole calibration thingy costs about a 1000 bucks in itself. Lol

It's possible it could create a problem. On the S6 when using vagcom to lower if you go outside the accepted 17mm drop you will throw codes and get the warnings for acc. Could be different on the A6 tho.

I'm VAG-COM lowered. Only 10mm on all corners, but no ACC warnings since doing that. I have had them pop in the past, though not nearly as much on the S6 as they did on the A6, which was on the factory sport suspension.

I'm lowered 17mm by vag com plus an additional 25mm with lowering links and have no issues. No codes and no warnings so far. ACC and braking guard having been working as intended.
