A few of us just did the Cascade loop in washington state with the same type of driving.
Its true, it's not always about the 1/4 mile time.

Unfortunately so!

At least it was a good test of the quattro.

It was the first time I've really had the opportunity to push the car in the wet. I was pleasantly surprised how planted the car felt despite the wet roads...I took my lead from the scots in the group (I'm a londoner) on how quickly I could go. I spent much of my time behind the black RS6 and the red RS4; the drivers of both of these cars were locals and knew the roads - that was a massive help.
