    2.0L Stroker Question

As many of you know I've been building a 2.0L Stroker but I already had forged pistons that I planned to reuse, the Pistons are JE 302025's. so 82mm, 9.25:1, designed I'm assuming for 86.4mm Stroke crank.

I'm using a 2.0L Crank with the IE gear pressed on, but recently saw that IE sells pistons specifically for 92.8mm stroke and the 86.4mm stroke..

I didn't even realize that the location of the wrist pin may have been moved to set the piston in a different location, such as above, level, or below the deck surface..

Anyone care to chime in on if I fucked myself by having my 82mm's for 86.4 crank recoated and should've just got new ones for the stroker crank?

Yeah, you cannot run 86.4 pistons on 92.8 stroke. Valves will smash and you wont have proper compression

There's a reason they make pistons for that stroke.
