Options on used A7

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a used 2013 or 2014 A7 prestige in the near future and just started researching them a bit more. One thing I've found while looking on Cars.com or autotrader is that it is hard to tell what option packages are actually on the cars and I don't always trust the salesman.

Can anyone help out with what packages were available on those years and how to tell if a car has them? The only one I've picked up on is a heated steering wheel should mean it has the cold weather package, but that doesn't seem to be a checkbox on the used car sites, so the dealers don't always mention it.

Also, I'd like a red exterior, but that model and color combo appear to be almost nonexistent. Is it that rare or do I just need to wait a while to find one?

The best thing to do is get the vin# and use audi USAs website customer support chat. They can send you the original dealer sticker by email. It's what I did when I was shopping. This way you'll truly know what was included in the car. GL!

I wish I'd thought of that. I found the order guides and basically based on the steering wheel buttons and light switch you can tell almost everything about option packages for the 2012 at least.

Thanks for the help guys. I didn't know about being able to get window stickers from Audi with the vin. I haven't seriously started looking yet, but I might PM you, richib86, when I find a few.

I've seen a few premium plus models in red, but not a prestige. Hoping for more color than the black, grey, silver, and white I normally see. I know I'll probably end up with another black car and be out there cleaning it every day.

I nearly bought one near me... it lacked a sport package, so I had to pass. Loved the garnet red color!

Thanks for the tip! I did not get the dealer sticker when I purchased the car. I just contacted them. It took all of 3 minutes via their web chat.
