I recently split my Intake manifold to swap on a upper half from a 2005 A8 (since its painted grey from factory). I put it back together and used RTV to seal it up again. Ran a thin bead over the factory gasket and around each plenum since there was sealant there originally. IF by chance it didn't seal and was leaking what signs would I be looking for? I am just wondering since I never asked this question before I did the job. Car drives and ideals fine. Just wasn't sure if a vacuum leak on an NA motor would be as easy to spot as a vac leak on a turbo motor.
