Angry Creaking noise when turn signal is on. See video

    Hello all again,

Perhaps someone has experienced this but when using my turn signal and moving the steering wheel side to side (either driving or stationed) I get a creaking noise coming from the steering column (I think).

If I turn off the turn signal, the creaking goes away.

Have a look at the video below:

Any ideas are appreciated. If you have a fix, could someone perhaps send me the instructions(like how to remove X).

    Thanks so much.

    Friendly nudge

Sorry all experts, but does anyone have any great ideas?

    Just looking for guidance here.

    Thanks again.

Sounds to me like the turn signal cancel cam might be on its way out. In many cars, there's a cam that turns off the turn signal after you've made a turn, and you can replace that separately. In this model, I'm pretty sure it's integral to the switch, meaning you'd have to replace the whole thing. You can see it in this diagram -- #5 http://www.midatlanticaudiparts.com/...Y/1397385.html
