    Cayenne/Touareg 4 pot Rears

Finally, someone has made a kit to bolt up 4 pot rears WITH a parking brake. Price is decent, but after everything you'd still damn near have $900 into getting them on.

I mean considering that apikol sells just the brackets for a front bbk for like 229 then this isn't a bad deal if it holds up

The parking brake caliper mounts look to be thinner but the 4 pot caliper bracket seems beefier.

    That's a good price.

I'm curious if driveability would be affected (brake bias, ABS, etc.).

You can code the brake bias to RS4 in VCDS

That wouldn't do much considering the calipers aren't the same.

Dude, the calipers are less than $150/piece on rock auto. Would have to grab crossover pipes though. Ebrake calipers are less than $100 apiece.

The e-brake brackets (at the top of the picture) are 1/4" which is more than enough material considering this just stops your car from rolling away when stopped. The brackets at the bottom of the picture are stainless steel and much thicker. These have good factor of safety on them and were designed by an Engineer. No concerns about safety on these. The very first kit has been going strong on a single turbo B5 for over 4 years with no issues.

We have also sold a kit to a customer in Australia with a B5 race car which will be a really good gauge for the durability of our product.

We have been running this kit for over 4 years with no issues. The pedal feels the same and we didn't have to do any coding for the brake bias. It feels exactly like stock, just stops WAY better. :)

What happens if I lose my brakes and need to use the "EMERGENCY"-brake at over 100kph/65mph? Will they not bend out of shape if I suddenly need to use it?

I am worried that if I leave my parking brake on by accident it will be like a bomb going off. Be honest we have all done it more than a few times.

I can't believe you guys are worried about the ebrake bracket. Its steel, what is going to happen to it?

The clamping force created by the Wilwood spot caliper isn’t enough to deform or damage our e-brake bracket. The surface area of the pad on the wilwood caliper can’t generate a great enough force to cause any damage to our brackets. You can use your e-brake like you normally would without any issues.
