I'm in the market for airsuspension and am totally new to it. Need advice. I am leaning towards airlift brand. Thanks.

Airlift is the way to go IMO, it comes with adjustable dampers not just bags mated to stock dampers like the accuair setup. The airlift can be had with both height and pressure monitoring/adjustment whereas accuair is just height, and on top of all that airlift is cheaper.

Which version is best in terms price and performance. Is it 3p?

Have had Airlift in both my Mk5 GTI and B8 A5, overall, big fan. Best balance of cost and performance. Only issue I had on both cars was strut bearing failure. Make sure you get the revised strut bearings / bushings with your kit and you will have no problem.

i know you said you're new to air suspension, but that doesn't mean you can't do your own research.

Call Tag Motorsports in San Diego, they had an accuair system on their own s4. They can help you out..

Airlift and Accuair are your main players (some minor ones, you'll have to google em). Both have similar approaches now. My local guy prefers to install Airlift, as they are more local-dealer supportive - you'll find way more installers and support. Accuair has a relatively restrictive distribution setup. For instance, the closest Accuair guy for me is a 5 hour drive. I have 3 Airlift installers within 2 hours (one of which is a good local guy).

Both are good, Airlift seems a bit lower cost apples to apples (at least what I can buy them for here). I've also seen quite a few like infinkc that do a combo setup that seem happy with it (Airlift struts/Accuari air management system).
    Everything graciously mispelled by Apple

Love my Airlift system with 3P management. Rides amazingly well, goes very low/higher than stock for range. Very very nice.

Have you thought of you should have went straight to a 3h setup? Im also looking into 3p for budget reasons and thinking of dual compressor setup as a fail safe. Is it necessary?

I don't have it on my S4 yet but I have an Airlift/Accuair setup on my Subaru Legacy. Airlift struts, Accuair e-level management, and dual tanks/compressors. Haven't had any issues with it and I daily drove my Legacy until I picked up the S4. Only maintenance I did was draining the tanks once a month and putting a cap of air brake antifreeze in the tanks in the winter. Still no issues even with me just driving the car on the weekends and to shows.
