I've had excellent results with bulbs from superbrightleds.com

Focus on the CAN-BUS compatible bulbs. Then narrow down to the ones with the larger light output (Lumen value). Have had bulbs from them on my car for years with no issues.

I recently put rear LEDs for the tail light and they both shorted out within 20 mins after turning them on. Stock bulbs still work as normal. Any of you know why?

With the higher output bulbs, do you still have to run an inline resistor?

Saw your thread and the recommendations. However, I didn't see any options for tail lights. Did I miss this while reading through the pages or is there not really a reliable option?

Currently I bought a set of deAutokey tail light bulbs and while the red led looked awesome, they just didn't last long.

If you get the CAN-BUS bulbs, the resistors are built in.

Hey guys, I ordered this one
    http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Canbus-Erro...s-p/10-090.htm

They work, but I do have the "Reverse light out" on my dash.
Also I ran into another issue, since I use my radar detector powered by a mirror tap, now it doesn't power it anymore. But it still turns on if I use a 12V socket in the car.
Not sure if anyone else ran into this issue..
Im going to try and switch it back to the stock bulbs, hopefully my radar powers back up from the mirror tap.

Do you remember what bulbs you got? I need tail lights and they don't have it on that site. They do carry reverse, brake, and sidemarker tho.

The bulbs I have aren't made anymore. Have had them on my car for over 3 years.

I would recommend this one that you can get in white (reverse) and amber (turn signal).....

    https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...ofit-car/1326/

For brake bulbs (to handle running light and when brakes are applied), go with this one....

    https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...ofit-car/1166/

Has CAN-BUS resistor built in (no bulb out warning) and has the brightest light output for best visibility to other cars.

My DIY (Kind of a cluttered mess, but lots of good info): http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...?highlight=led

As of right now, I run V-LED in the front, rear, and sidemarker signals. The front signals require 6 ohm resistors and must be CK configured bulbs.

I run these for brake lights: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301586933228...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

These for the secondary rear running lights (the brightness match exactly to the above brake lights' while dim): http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Pair-Set-o...kAAOSwr7ZW7eX9

And, IMO, the best option for reverse lights. At 1395 lumens each, it's like having headlights to reverse with: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262139973006...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Hi, which model did you test - when did you purchase and when did it go out? They have been working on a lot of different plug and play error Brake 1156 LEDs so they can probably help you out & they offer a Lifetime Warranty on all their LEDs so they have you covered.

    Please contact [email protected]

For our reverse 194 - these are 100% plug and play error free - and VERY BRIGHT:

Also, if you give us more information on any bulb type you want we can set you up with some LEDs to test out.

and recent customer review on our reverse LEDs:
