If I wanted to tune my own car, what programs are available to do so? I've seen a lot of talk on this forum in regards to mail order tunes, but no one tuning their own cars. Any help is appreciated. Should also mention that it is currently a 1.8t, but getting a 2.7t.

If you're serious about tuning, head on over to Nefmoto. There's a great community there that is willing to help... but only if you READ first. If you don't read, they will tear you apart. There's literally months of reading over there if you want to learn the secrets of the Motronic.

Nefmoto definitely. Either that or buy a eurodyne cable and you can tune your car as many times as you want. But nefmoto route is cheaper if you're willing to learn

I think he meant do you have a 1.8t or 3.0?

BTW, saw you're in San Angelo. Very familiar with KSJT, spent a lot of time there doing touch and go's during flight training. Great sandwich place in the terminal!

I added it to my original post

I haven't done any flying out of here. I got my license in NC when I was in the military. Just logging time for my commercial...

Are you referring to their "maestro tuning suite?" It's also worth mentioning that I have tuned all of my LS powered vehicles. Just need to find decent tuning software for the Audi.
