B5 S4 Aftermarket Fuel System Example

Here is an aftermarket fuel system flow chart and parts list that I put together for people interested in installing an E85 high flowing fuel system. I highly recommend using carbon impregnated PTFE fuel hose like Earls speed seal. It doesn't weep fuel vapors like the rubber lined hoses.

***Also, you will not need the entire length of hose I included in the estimate as there is extra so you won't end up short. You can try an order less if you want to estimate the lengths you will actually need.
***The parallel setup could also be modified to use a dual inlet FPR, that way you could eliminate the need for am additional Y fitting in the feed lines. Adjust accordingly

hey everyone i have a bunch of these fittings if you need them!

Great write up though man. This would have been nice to have...maybe i wouldnt have so many left over fittings then lol. So with this setup do you come through by the shock tower with the bulkhead fittings?

Come on, non-PTFE lines are not _that_ bad. Yes they leak vapour and everything will smell like booze,
but at least they LAST for ... wait 6 months:

That my friends were leaking in the engine bay like that. We carefully removed the outer layer to inspect
    the hose (took 3 hours).

I am glad I switched to PTFE since then.

I'm curious what fuel rails you're running on your car. In my research, it seems that most of the aftermarket rails for the 2.7T are -6 in/out. Because of that running -8 to the first rail, then -8 between the two in the series example would seem kind of redundant. Additionally, the neck down could potentially cause the second bank in the series to be slightly leaner than the first bank. Thoughts? Are there -8 rails out here that I'm missing? I have a set of 034 [RS4 mani] rails for a car that I am putting together for a friend and think I am going to run them in parallel for that reason. The RS4 manifold part doesn't really help for selection either.

I know this is old, but I run IE rails that come with -8 o-ring ports
