Wow very nice! I think you are the only stage 2 car with clean runs. Are you running the 100 or the 104 map? Which gas are you using?

It these runs were with 2300 DA then with better DA you are to run low 10.30sand probably pickup another mile or two traps!

Ideally, a Standard Environmental Condition (“Standard Day”), and would be:
    1. Sea level
    2. A barometer of 29.92” Hg.
    3. An ambient air temperature of 59 degrees F (+15 C)
    4. A relative humidity of 0%

This meteorlogical condition is the basis of determining rated SAE HP. It is also the standard condition for determining 1/4 mile acceleration performance.

Just because a track is at an elevation close to sea level, the Density Altitude (DA) of a given track may be real high due to a local environmental condition of low barometric pressure, high temperature and/or high humidity at the time … So, we can say that; Density Altitude (DA) is the actual altitude of the track adjusted for the barometric pressure and relative humidity at the time.

Then combine a high PA with a high ambient air temperature, and you get a very high Density Altitude (DA) … Density Altitude is the actual track altitude above sea level, adjusted for the barometric pressure, ambient air temperature and relative humidity.

And a high DA is what kills horsepower and results in high ETs and low trap speeds.

On the other hand, operating a vehicle on a track close to sea level, at very cold track temperature, a condition of high barometric pressure and very low humidity would result in faster 1/4 mile times than when operated at a Sea Level / Standard Day track, and would also not be an accurate measurment of the car’s rated HP.

That tire and wheel combo seems to be a big part of this. I don't know anyone else pulling 1.5 60fts. You might be getting .2 better results in the quarter based on your superior 60ft.

it definitely makes a difference. But also Nick's car seems really healthy! pulling almost 106mph on the 1/8 and about 133.5 on the 1/4 mile with such high DA, it definitely shows that his car makes power! I would bet you that if for example he run his car with a negative DA, he would probably be in the 106+ on the 1/8 and maybe even 135 on the 1/4! And that's some serious numbers from a car with just intake, exhaust and tune!

I am sure Nick will run his car in the fall, when the weather is much cooler!

Based on the dragtimes.com DA correction calculator his best pass, after correcting for DA would be [email protected] !!! That's Mental!!!!

Good runs! You have almost 2 mph and 1.5 seconds on my 1/8th mile times for a stage 2 pump gas rs7. With similar DA.
