Black tail lights

Hello fellow MK3 owners,

I just wanted to know if someone already blackened the tail lights of his car and with what: film or lacquer.
Can you please post some photos?

I would use Oracal 8300. I've been sitting on this for a while. I do it for almost every car I have, but am not sure about the TTS.

ok, thank you for the pictures but why don't you want to blacken the tail lights of the TT?

Eh just cause my TT is matte black, and I haven't gone for the murdered out look yet. There's so much silver trim I'll never blacken.

If I went for black wheels, black emblems, and such I think I'd tint the tails.
