Broken Bleed Valve - Anyone try the repair kits?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I was doing a brake fluid change over the weekend (car is at 215k) and the front-driver side caliper bleeder valve
snapped off at the threads (tiny bit sticking out of the hole on caliper) while trying to loosen it. It was seized and
almost stripped, I also didn't use a torch so unfortunately it snapped.

My question now is how to fix this. Right now it's not a huge issue because it never loosened the bolt so I just
never bled that corner but in the future I would like to fix it. Has anyone used a bleed valve repair kit?

I saw this online and thought it might do the trick if I brought it to a shop to tap.

I also found these I could use if I can get the old one out.

Same thing happened to me. They are just sitting in my shed for scrap metal. But let me know if you come up with a solution.

Buddy who's a mechanic says I can just give him the caliper and his easy out will get it out and put back a stock bleeder valve. I'll let you know how it goes.
