Suggestion on wheel color - TSW Bathurst on black s4

Hey all-curious on what you think would look good on my car. Car is phantom black with the stock silver/polished Bathurst. The face is a little too shiny, I actually like the look when they are dirty almost like a gunmetal. Sooo maybe get them powdercoated gunmetal? Any other suggestions? Leave it alone? Don't want to do black on a black car. Thanks!!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1468204991.771491.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1468205008.715216.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1468205023.446720.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1468205041.321849.jpg

I see the same thing on mine - when the brake dust builds up they turn a nice gunmetal, and I've been thinking the same thing. I'd recommend taking the car to the shop while the wheels are just the right "dirty" so they can compare the color, then get it painted that "gunmetal" or whatever color they have that is closest.

I have the same wheels (on Deep blue) and was a bit unsure which direction I wanted to go. So I dipped them satin black. Love the look. Unfortunately I don't have any pics with them on the car.
Life has taught me never try to make something idiot proof, they'll simply come up with a better idiot.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
I have neither the time, nor the crayons to explain this to you properly.

If you're not sure you're going to like the color, you could always Plastidip. I did my stock Rotors in Anthracite a couple of weekends ago, and the finish is surprisingly nice. Pictures here:

Have them in gun metal. Almost a little murdered out for me on a black car but for the price, weight, and style I couldn't pass them up. I'm probably going to leave the mirrors and window trim silver for a little bit of contrast.

Yes, Plastidip with Gun metal and live with it for a couple weeks to see what you think.
