radio will not power up.

hi guys, my concert was working ok. pulled it to plug in the concert 2 that i want to fit. that didnt work. so upon refitting my old unit that will not power up either. ive check the fuse in the box that is ok. ive got a hot at all time feed. but not sure where the hot when the ignition is on is in the connector, can anyone help with this issue please.

There's a fuse on the back of the stereo too. Fuse box fuse and head unit fuse, if those are good then I'd attempt to comm with the head unit with Vag Com. There's no 'keyed 12V"+ to the head unit, that signal is made by the CanBus.

The Concert and Concert + use different connectors at the back of the radio. The Concert uses mini ISO connectors, the Concert+ uses the quadlock connector. You need an adapter to adapt the mini ISO connectors to the quadlock. This is the same adapter used to adapt a Sym II to a Sym II.+

hi guys thank you for your messages, all the fuses have been checked, i did use the quadlock adaptor. have not treied the vag com yet. is there any chance that the quadlock adaptor/ bad headunit could have damaged the ccm. also on other thing ive noticed is that the illumination to the radio isnt working when i turn the park lights on.
