    The best cell phone location!!

I don't know about you guys but, why the Fk there's no place to hold or keep nicely a cell phone. The cup holder shouldn't be the place

Theres the air vents magnet solution but I don't like it, so I think the ideal cellphone location would be next to the cigarette lighter, if there's was a compartment obviously.

To me looks that maybe there is plenty space behind there, but just to confirm it the whole center console should be removed, and I don't have the time tomorrow do it .

For me it would be the best place, and I don't see it very difficult modifying the console and add an insert or something like that .

But what do you guys think?

Has anyone removed the center console?

The clear mounts magnetic mount between the dash vents is the best. Too far out of reach. The clear mounts allows you to use the phone in place if need be, i.e. searching for something, or using google maps, change, you playlist, etc... Might as well keep it in your pocket if you want to put it in that location.

Right next to the cup holder is to far to reach? Maybe if you have very short arms lol.

The magnet on the air vents is just an elegant solution to a regular air vent holder. And I don't like either.

I love the design of the interior, and I don't like the idea of sticking something on.

You love the interior, but willing to cut into/modify the dash console. I'd rather not cut or modify anything. Most people are sitting back farther than normal, due to the brake pedal position, so yeah, it is a longer reach for most. I use my google maps more than the MMI Navi, so to see it between the vents is a perfect location for me. To each their own.

I'd say thay if you think the spot behind the cup holders is an easy reach, then you're like one of those old ladies that sit with their face like 4" from the steering wheel.

Not to mention, you have to look down at the lowest point of your dash at a tiny screen. Not ergo friendly and not safe.

I think he is really just looking for a spot to store his phone while driving, with the intention of only pulling the phone out until he parks.

I think that bin would fit nicely in that spot, but without taking any measurements it's hard to tell. But $40 isn't a terrible experiment.
