Yeah 10.5 @ 133 mph is slow for that car. Maybe he has this newly revealed AMAX disease

Well 223 km which is almost 139 mph for the 1/4 mile and 175km (about 170mph) for the 1/2 mile is the highest straps we have seen ever from this platform.

In the comments they r saying that the car had some shifting issue between 4th and 5th. They admit that it should be way faster and they r working on it...

I give them credit for pushing this platform to the extreme. And still on the stock block and stock tranny!

Two things that I would change, the wheels since they look smaller so the final gear ratio might be affected, thus the shifting issues and then the intake. I cannot believe that yhe stock box, if not modified, and provide airflow for 1000 horsepower.

Also compare the cars performance relative to what yhe other cars were running.. the Avent adorable stock is good for 10.6 and higher traps!

I am still convinced that the amax issue is torque related than launch counter related. I have 55 documented drag passes at the strip alone and only three random times I did not achieve amax.

Plus there are reports where amax issues occur with the 104 map but when switching to the 100 octane map or less, amax is achieved.

But again others like HeelBuff lost the amax in all maps...

I am hoping that APR is still investigating this and come up with a resolution soon. I can definitely use the extra power and torque in the fall when I run the car again! :)

I think it's just a ZF transmission issue, so only RS7 and (in theory, though apparently not yet in practice) S8.
