It is just push to fit clips all tbe way around, with a couple of screws underneath.

If the clips are broken, then other than glueing, it will be a replacement valance.

If they are just loose, position and bang with your fist to seat the clips.

Does it clip to the bumper or the "securing strip"? I checked out the exploded diagrams for parts, and to me it seems it's attatched to the securing strip..

To me it seems the clips that comes out are just a little bit too short, and when I try to push it in, the bumper gives inn and moves just so it wont clip on..

And as far as I can see none or the clips on bumper nor the diffuser are broken, just a bit short.. its a bit hard to see, without taking the whole thing off

as jkwelsh said, if clips are broken you have two options 1 glue or buy a new or gently used one.

i have an aftermarket diffuser and it was my experience that removing the bumper was the only way to know with 100% confidence that all clips were secured and fastened properly. in the end, i didn't have any broken clips, just a few "weak" clips, so i used glue. caution with glue, you'll be spending a lot more to fix if you ever get in a rear fender bender, because glue is permanent. anyway, knock on wood i haven't had any issues since gluing it 7 months ago.

    my advice - remove bumper

entire bumper - if you desire 100% assurance that the job is done right. don't get me wrong, you can just remove the diffuser, but you take the 50/50 risk of it happening again in the future. again, just my personally experience, i've been down both roads, and the only sure thing was removal of entire bumper. if you go this route, it sounds worse than it is

Thanks to both of you for helpful posts! Might have to get the entire thing of, due to the fact that I cant push/smack it into place.. might have the problem as you, with the weak clips.

Dredding the thought of removing the bumper tho, parking sensors and all..
