    Door Rattles with Bass

Hey all. I have searched and read previous posts on the topic. Actually, doing my homework here at AZ led me to take my vehicle in for the TSB regarding door rattles with music. About 2 weeks post TSB, the rattle is back. It seems to be coming from all 4 doors to some degree. I have cranked the bass with my doors open and inspected each one. Seems that PART of the problem has to do with the door panel rattling against the actual door. I guess I am going to take it back in - but I wanted to see if this is a fairly common issue? What have you guys done independently to fix this problem?

I remember seeing somewhere a guy on here or different forum used something like dynamat to rid his car of all rattles. Maybe try that if dealer cannot fix.

had the issue, took to dealer, they fixed it. I had this issue on my brand new '16 at like 1K miles. So it came from the factory fucked up.

They said it was something loose though. Not sure about hitting the door.

Ever since I put some stiffer suspension on my car, I have a rattle in my driver side door everytime I hit a bump that drives me crazy. It really started happening after I hit one really bad bump on the highway due to road construction, now has been rattling ever since. It is more related to bumps in the road rather than bass though. Does this sound like what the TSB will fix?

Also if I am out of warranty (at 48k miles but just a few months over 4 years of owning my 2012), will Audi charge me to apply the TSB on the door rattles?

    Door Rattles with Bass

My passenger side rattles with bass but if I push on the panel it stops. I haven't taken it apart yet scared it will create more. Meh

Plastic rubbing/rattling. Sounds like door trim squeaking

I had this exact issue with my 2012. It was loose fasteners inside the door panels. I guarantee you that is what it is on your car. Dealer needs to take off interior door panels and tighten up a couple of fasteners. Not a big job at all
