Diy upper radiator hose

Has anyone ever made an upper radiator hose for a B6 1.8? My coupling broke and trying to avoid buying a new one if I could assemble one. Any input?

A new upper rad hose assembly comes with the special coupler O ring needed to avoid leaks, not available separately. The small hose from the coupler to the expansion tank is included also.
