    Removal of door cards?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Ok guys, to make a long story short I slid off the icy road over the winter and my passenger side front and rear door both got dented upon impact with a snow bank. I kept putting off getting it fixed because I drive the car multiple times a day every day but I'm finally tired of looking at it.

There's no paint damage so I really don't want to replace them fully.

I tried pushing/pulling out the dents but even with some persuasion of a heat gun I just can't get it perfect since it's so close to the style seams/lines.

Therefore my plan is to take off the door cards to push out the dents. Any guides/tips on how to do so without breaking all the goddamn clips?

    Thanks in advance!

If you google trim removal pliers you'll find a tool that when used right is invaluable. I didn't use these and broke 1 of the clip holders on the back of my doorcard. It now rattles when I turn the music up so need to replace it, problem is a new card costs a small fortune!

Thanks for the responses and links guys. I have a set of trim removal tools I bought to do my head unit in the Bimmer a while back - I'll have to dig them out of the garage.
