2013 q7 TDI, need advice on APR ECU tune about to purchase car help!

So we are looking to go from our 2011 q5 2.0t to a q7, drove a 2014 s-line with regular suspension and the 3.0T and hated it, so sluggish and drove like a truck.

Just drive a 2013 TDI with the air suspension and it drove much better and had more power but just not enough.

Anyone have a tuned TDI, did it transform the car, I hate to say it but I might look to an X5 50i to get the sportiness i need, but I am an audi guy and don't want to been seen in the BMW!!!

the x5 comes in a diesel version too but it is much louder and rough than the Q7 but is more sporting (as far as a big bloated suv can be with a diesel engine) than the Q7.

i cross-shopped the x5d and the q7 tdi and wound up in a fully optioned 50i m-sport. no complaints or regrets.

I have a APR Stage 1 TDI It does make it better. I not sure I would go as far as to say it is sporty but for sure not as sluggish. If you are willing to tune why not just go with the 3.0T in the S-line Stage 2. TDI Stage one gives you 50+hp and tq For figures around 280hp and 440tq. For the 3.0t you get almost 70+ tq and almost 100hp. Figures around 440hp and 286tq. Just a thought.

Two children in the second row work great but not as well or as roomy as Q7. I do not have any complaints with rear seat width and leg room. The third row on the X5 is some what pointless it is basically for 5yr olds up to pre-teens... I cannot imagine a full size adult having any comfort or ease entering the third row on that vehicle. In addition the added weight for a system I would utilize once or twice a year wasn't worth it. (I prefer the "basement" compartment for storage and use that on a daily basis so no spare and no third row was the way to go for me.)

Yours has a no spare tire option with larger storage?

nope. i have the 21" OEM 599M M-Sport wheels and i did not want the spare tire just so i could have the "basement" option. it was one of my favorite features on my X5M so i had to have it again.
