Sorry to hear that. Did it go out with any other components in your engine bay?

From what I can see the belt split the fender liner, a nice chuck of the hood insulation and wrapped around the fan. Haven't heard from the dealer yet but I doesn't look too bad

To be honest I am not sure. We sell it as "off-road use only" but you would have to check your local requirements.

Doesn't seem to be much love for the HFCs. Anyone know of a video with HFCs on an otherwise stock exhaust? I did this on my B7 A4 2.0T and the little added sound was just right without making the exhaust obnoxious.

Hi Jake,

Yesterday I had the JHM rear rotors installed. The shop installed them so the airfoil center gap would be facing the correct direction during rotation for proper cooling function. However when we install it that way, the slots in the rotors face the wrong direction. Is it possible the hats were installed on the wrong side of the rotor rings?

^^^ If you flip the hats to the other side, it would flip both the slots and vanes 180 degrees, so then the slots would be going the right way and the vanes the wrong way. Make sense? The slots will scrape the pads either way, this way if anything, it'll direct gasses/dust outwards since the slots are angled outwards as they scrape and channel everything out. This may have been why they did it this way, but it's hard to know for sure.

Slots should look like this: (Driver side of car)



So people can see how they angle "leaning back" towards the rear of the car. A lot of people get confused with the slots since our slotting is the opposite of stoptech's.

What are you front rotors?

My fronts are girodisc. Just for clarification my picture is from the driver's side. I believe brembo slots face the same way as the stoptechs and girodiscs.

Yes, your slots are correct for driver side.

Yeah I considered those because they're an lb or two lighter than the girodiscs, but I think the girodiscs have a better functional design. If I upgrade in the future, the JHM product I'll consider is the 382mm BBK.
