    Hey guys,

    I am regularly seeing oil temps (in the pan) of 220 degrees (oil temp gauge in oil drain plug). Yes I know, shitty location, not reading real temps, but it was the previous owner, and at-least I have something.

    I have a ko4, drive her all year round. Should I do an oil cooler?

    I read around 220 or so, I think this is the normal temps for the oil in summer and in traffic.

    why is oil plug a bad spot?

    My sensor is in the oil plug and I hit 123 Celsius (253.4 F) the other day in 32 C (89.6 F) weather
