Boost leak saga - Need part number

    Howdy,

I've got a boost leak on an '04 A4 Avant 1.8t in the location shown in the picture on the turbo inlet pipe just forward of the turbo and I'm having a helluva time tracking down the exact part numbers for what I need to replace.

It's some sort of elbow connector I believe, and the leak is right at the bottom connection of the elbow. I reckon I'll need new clamps as well. Anyone have a leak in this particular spot before and maybe know a part number?

    Thanks,
    Jules

If you are actually experiencing a boost leak that isn’t the cause of the leak. If you are experiencing a P0171 or similar that could be the cause. Normally the TIP doesn’t get pressurized. Any air leaks going into the TIP will result in false (non-metered) air being pulled into the intake since the air will be entering after the MAF sensor. That elbow ultimately connects to your evap purge valve.
