    stereo build question

HI all. So i have 2003 a4 non-bose symphony II and want to upgrade the stereo. i was planning on doing a full swap...new door speakers with a 4 channel amp, touch screen radio with rear view camera and new sub with its own amp. the Non-bose only has an amp for the sub and 2 rear doors, not the front doors. After more research i realized i should be wiring in tweeters along with the mids and front center speakers on the dash.... so i was thinking, would i be able to bypass the current amp for the rear door speakers and wire all current door speakers, tweeters, and dash speakers to an aftermarket amp so i can run power to front and rear doors? I'd like to keep the current speakers but they are not loud enough with windows down haha!

    thanks!

Yes, just bypass that factory amp and use your new 4 channel amp to power the door speakers. Disconnect the center dash speaker entirely, it's tiny (about 1.5" across) and not worth using unless you have a DSP that can handle surround duties (JBL MS8 or Alpine H800 are the only 2 that can handle it). Assuming you will have component speakers, they will come with crossovers that you need to mount somewhere.
