    Compression ratio

I've been reading about engine technology (just out of interest) and in particular the 'balance' between FI pressure and CR. When I came to check what the CR is for the 3.0 TFSI I found different figures. In Audi's SSP it is shown as 10.5:1 but in various places on the 'net I have seen 10.3:1 and 10.8:1. The information I found relates to the A6 as well as the S4, and I note that the power/torque in the SSP is not the same as the engine in the S4. I had assumed that the lower power versions were simply de-tuned in the ECU maps. Is it possible that this is not the case and that there really are different versions of the supercharged engines having slightly different CRs?
