Epic road trip!

So I should have done this before but got so busy with photo projects and stuff.

Today I set off on what should be a 6000 plus mile road trip. First leg is Ft Lauderdale to New Orleans, then New Orleans to San Antonio, then I believe Kansas City, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Quebec Springfield Ma, NYC, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, dragons tail NC/TN, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale.

I'm talking my little girl to every Six flags east of the Rockies.

Fellas if there are any must see's please let me know. And if you see me say hi. 😁

Sounds like a fun trip!

If you need recommendations for Toronto, and are doing an amusement run, checkout Canadas Wonderland which is north end of Toronto.

The car soaks up the miles, I did a 4500 Mile trip From NJ to Houston Tx to Austin Tx (with sight seeing driving there) to Washington DC to Ocean City MD, To NJ. The only thing that was the weak was the squishy bit behind the steering wheel.

Man, 6,000 miles! That's a long road trip! I don't think I would want to put that many miles on my car at once lol.

If you think about it, 6k miles on tons of highway runs on road trips is probably 10 times better than 6k miles stop and go, or light to light city driving with pothole infested streets over about what 6 months for the average driver and their daily?

But 6k miles in one shot is up there for sure!

You are a road warrior, but what a great highway car to do it in!
When traveling I-95, I prefer taking route 301 to 50 and back to 301 to bypass DC and Baltimore. Slower, but mellow. If you're going down near Virginia Beach via RT 13, take the 21 mile Chesapeake bridge and tunnel. It's something to experience.
Best rest stop in all of I-95 is at the Delaware/ Maryland border.

After my first pitstop I was easily reminded why I'm not in a rental for this trip. . I'm just getting settled in New Orleans, parking is a bitch!

I used to live in Westchester and in Rego park. I intend to be in NYC area on a weekend as I'm trying to get together with several college friends. I will keep his updated as best I can.

It was great until I stopped to checkout the Battleship Alabama, and then Mississippi was terrible!

Okay the only stats I have. Until the battleship Alabama stop I was averaging 75mph,21.5 mpg and .128 cents/mile.

The car is perfect, I rented a Kia the other day because I had to run to DC, little bro was being sworn in as Supreme Court attorney, with his wife and a few others from Georgetown. It was terrible, I could not pass anyone, I had to plan way ahead to surprise someone I wanted to go around. Lol.

Let's just say I love my little car. That all, and I'm not bored out of my mind behind the wheel.

Hey Mike, long time no see. We have to catch up when I get back. I have been avoiding the urge for track nights America. Lol.

The trip is crazy, but since the school board is basically screwing us and cutting my pay and I'll never have 26 days straight with my daughter again. I said what the hell, car is under warranty, threw my extra wheel in trunk and took off.
