    I want to build or upgrade my 4.2 engine. Any advice/ideas ?

    There is a replacement alternator for the older model that gives trouble, apart from replacing the timing chains etc as far as Iv’e heard there is a plastic chain guide that should be replaced with the RS4 metal item.

    The B6 manual flywheels break up so fit the B7 or an alloy flywheel and B7 or RS4 clutch.

    Replace the clutch slave cylinder.

    I have a few sets of headers made as they were slouch a good mod.
